Hideo Kojima Explains What A Hideo Kojima Game Is

Hideo Kojima Game

Hideo Kojima is known for many things, including the likes of the Metal Gear Solid franchise, his fallout with Konami, his ability to tease fans to no end, and for generally being a pretty cool guy in tune with pop culture. That said, now that his upcoming mysterious title Death Stranding has a release date, Kojima-san has decided to explain to fans what exactly a Hideo Kojima game is.

Taking to Twitter, the prominent video game creator detailed how the process for developing games has changed over the past 33 years, but his way hasn’t. Even as he began to take on more roles over the years, his process of creating a Hideo Kojima game has not changed. “And then I had to do business management, producing, & promoting,” he said. “Even when the team got bigger and the task was subdivided my way of making game didn’t change, an indies style.”

He finished off the thread by saying how he is involved with the process from top to bottom.

There’s no denying that Hideo Kojima sets himself apart from other video game creators, and that is especially apparent in his work. Whether it’s the Metal Gear series, P.T., Policenauts, Snatcher, or even in the footage of Death Stranding, you know a Hideo Kojima game when you see it.

Death Stranding will be the next big project from Kojima-san and it is set to arrive on November 8th for PlayStation 4. Keep it tuned to Don’t Feed the Gamers as this story develops, and for other gaming goodness going on right now, check out the following:
