Halo: The Master Chief Collection Coming To “A New Place,” Devs Tease

Halo Master Chief Collection

Fans were excited when 343 Industries revealed that Halo: The Master Chief Collection would be coming to PC, and now that players are able to enjoy various titles from the franchise on the platform, it would seem that all eyes are on the upcoming Infinite. That said, it appears that the MCC is coming to yet another platform.

In the recent entry on the Halo Waypoint blog, 343’s Postums went over a fair amount of what’s happening behind the scenes and what to expect in the relatively near future. However, there is one very interesting part of the blog post that points to The Master Chief Collection possibly coming to a new platform. The devs are planning to kick off their next round of flights later this month, if all goes according to plan. One such thing to be tested is “maybe a new place and way to play.”

Unfortunately, no specifics were offered regarding what that means. The chances of seeing Halo come to the likes of another console is seemingly unlikely, but we just might be seeing The Master Chief Collection come to the Epic Games Store. It also may be a long shot, but the new “way to play” could be referencing something along the lines of VR, which would certainly be interesting. Again, this is all speculation, so we will just have to wait until the end of this month or early next month to learn what the devs at 343 Industries are up to.

Halo: The Master Chief Collection is currently available on Xbox Consoles and PC via Steam. Keep it tuned to Don’t Feed the Gamers as this story develops, and for other gaming goodness going on right now, check out the following:
