Halo: Master Chief Collection Feedback Highly Desired By 343 Industries For The Future Revival Update
The Halo: Master Chief Collection came out onto the Xbox One back in 2014. While the campaign was praised for its impressive visual improvements, the multiplayer was seen to have major flaws such as matchmaking and connectivity issues on top of many other server problems. While the team at 343 Industries has fixed quite a few of the player complaints, the initial damage had already been done. The developers announced a Halo: Master Chief Collection update project earlier this year, and to get that up and running; they need your help.
A recent forum post to Halo Waypoint showed the studio following through with their fan connection promise by asking players what particular features they’d like to see come in the future. 343 made it clear that the discussion of fans’ “Top New Feature Wishlist” items wasn’t necessarily a promise, but that all feedback would be gathered and taken into account with the planned update.
Among the many features suggested, there were a few that overlapped with each other that can be seen below:
- More Armor Customization that stays true to each individual title
- An overhaul of the menu UI
- Custom Games Browser
- Adding a server for multiplayer firefight co-op for Halo 3: ODST
- An XP progression/ranking system
It’s great to see 343 Industries try to build a more open relationship with the fans of the Halo franchise. Are there any features you’d like to see in a future Halo: Master Chief Collection update?
