Grand Theft Auto 6 Job Posting Seemingly Listed By Rockstar Games
With Red Dead Redemption 2 having already been out in the public for over a year, fans of Rockstar Games are eagerly awaiting news regarding their next big game. Several rumors have surfaced this past year that have pointed to their next project being the return of the Grand Theft Auto franchise, with potential big changes rumored like a female protagonist. Given the lengthy development time needed for big projects like a Grand Theft Auto game, naturally many job positions are needed, even early on in the process. Thus, a new listing by Rockstar Games may well be a Grand Theft Auto 6 job posting.
Rockstar Games recently published the new potential Grand Theft Auto 6 job listing on their official website. The position is for an Animation Systems Programmer that will join their core animation technology team, which will also interact with other various Rockstar teams. The listing makes no mention of what specific game that this position would be for, but one part of the description makes for a strong argument that this could be for Grand Theft Auto 6. The description reads:
We are looking for an experienced, talented engineer to help us in developing advanced animation systems for large open world character-based games.”
This game could be something other than GTA 6, but given this year’s numerous rumors and the patterns seen before of wait times between GTA installments, there’s a strong case to be made for Grand Theft Auto 6 being next on Rockstar’s docket. If this turns out to be true, it’s surely going to be all attention on this game from the gaming industry, like the cops on a 5-Star Trevor Philips.
