Ghost Recon Wildlands Update Will Feature The Punisher’s Jon Bernthal (VIDEO)

Ghost Recon Wildlands

Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Wildlands has been incredibly good about continuing to update the game with new content over time. From crossovers between franchises such as Splinter Cell and Rainbow Six, to the introduction of new characters within the universe. A new free content update is now here bringing with it the assistance of a new Ghost.

Operation Oracle is the name of the newest content update that consists of 2 new missions for players to complete. According to a recent blog post, Ghost will be tasked with extracting a Skell Tech engineer who holds sensitive US industrial secrets. Along the way, players will run across a new character by the name of Major Cole D. Walker, who will be voiced by the Punisher’s Jon Bernthal as well as share a striking resemblance to the actor. The post also mentioned that the Operation will “challenge your perception of truth,” which bodes well for the next chapter.

Ghost Recon Wildands’ Operation Oracle is available now and the only requirement necessary to access it is to have completed the first main campaign mission. Players will be able to begin the first mission by Montuyoc and can be found by a symbol within the TacMap. Upon completing the Operation Ghost, operatives will gain two rewards: a bracelet, and a tattoo. Walker’s tattoo is a purely cosmetic alteration but his bracelet will allow players to perform a new CQC Finisher.

Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Wildlands is currently available for PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4. It’s also worth noting that also beginning on May 2nd is a series of Free Play Days that will run through May 5th. The description for Operation Oracle indicates that players will potentially affect what will be seen in the future, though as for what that means is uncertain.
