Recently teasing a new permadeath modeGhost Recon Wildlands has a bevy of new content planned for their next Special Operation 2 update, including PvP maps and the introduction of Ghost War challenges. We see several notable references to the likes of the Predator and Splinter Cell‘s Fourth Echelon division. The footage lastly lands on a surprise reveal of the Rainbow Six logo, confirming that another crossover is indeed happening in Ubisoft’s Clancy-verse.

The combination of tactical squads from Ghost Recon Wildlands and Rainbow Six Siege will surely be an awesome and formidable force, begging the question of why they’d even join together in the first place. While not much else about the forthcoming update has been revealed, the full scope of this new crossover is scheduled to be fully unveiled on July 23rd. Ghost Recon Wildlands is available now for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
