Ghost Recon Breakpoint’s Open Beta Hit With Connection And Login Issues

Ghost Recon Breakpoint

It isn’t going to be long before Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Breakpoint goes live in full, however, before that players will have a chance to get a quick taste thanks to the help of an open beta. Unfortunately, the open beta saw a little bit of a delay as the developers ran into some connection issues prior to its launch.

The developers released a Tweet explaining that in order to provide players with an optimal experience they needed to put the Ghost Recon Breakpoint open beta on hold. A later tweet marked the official launch of the beta, though there still seems to be some issues. Players have been responding to the Tweet expressing their frustrations at not being able to log in at all, having no audio while playing, and connection errors that occur as they play. While things seem to be off to a rough start, hopefully the rest of the beta can progress smoothly before transitioning into the full launch of Ghost Recon Breakpoint.

The open beta for Ghost Recon Breakpoint is aiming to give players a little bit more than what was experienced in the previous closed beta, giving them access to five main story missions on top of various side missions and daily Faction missions across multiple locales on the archipelago of Auroa. Players will also be able to get their hands on some PvP action with the Ghost War mode, a 4v4 elimination game mode that will be featured on three different maps.

Ghost Recon Breakpoint is set to release on October 4th for PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4. The open beta for the game is set to run until September 29th, though with the issues that have been hampering players so far, perhaps it will be extended another day or two.
