Genshin Impact has been the victim of a relentless number of leaks since the game’s release last year, with reports continuously pouring in revealing what’s to come weeks, even months prior to any official announcements from developer miHoYo. Version 1.6 has been no exception, with the new Anemo character Kazuha having been leaked over a month earlier than his official reveal. miHoYo seems like it wants to get out in front of these leaks, with the developer revealing three of the game’s upcoming playable characters from the Inazuma region.

Genshin Impact developer miHoYo took to Twitter today to reveal Inazuma characters Yoimiya, Ayaka, and Sayu. Ayaka was of course seen during the recent Version 1.6 special event, though the other two are fresh arrivals that offer a sneak peek at what’s to come when the Traveler finally makes it to the highly anticipated Inazuma region. So, without further ado, here’s the breakdown of all three new characters:

Yoimiya – 5-star Pyro Bow user

“Fireworks are the highlight of the festival, and Yoimiya is Inazuma’s best pyrotechnician. Every display she planned turns out fabulously.” —Kamisato Ayaka

• Yoimiya ‧ Frolicking Flames
• Owner of Naganohara Fireworks
• Pyro (Element)
• Carassius Auratus (Constellation)

Ayaka – 5-star Cryo Sword user

“Miss Ayaka will personally take care of the most troublesome matters.” —An ordinary businessman from Hanamizaka

• Kamisato Ayaka – Frostflake Heron
• Daughter of the Yashiro Comission’s Kamisato Clan
• Cryo (Element)
• Grus Nivis (Constellation)

Sayu – 4-star Anemo Claymore user

“Are you in a hurry to find Sayu? She is usually hiding in the trees in the afternoons. I have my own ways of finding her, so let me know if you need help.” —Kamisato Ayato

• Sayu – Mujina Ninja
• Shiyuumatsu-Ban’s Resident Ninja

There we have it! All three characters will be releasing at some point after the Traveler makes it to the Inazuma region, so after the events of Version 1.6: Midsummer Island Adventure. In the meantime, the Wish banner with Kazuha will be releasing following the conclusion of Klee’s rerun banner.

Genshin Impact is currently available for PC, PS4, PS5, and Android & iOS devices. The game will be releasing on the Epic Games Store on June 9, 2021.
