Gears 5 is the next installment in the wildly popular Gears of War franchise, and fans are getting excited for its September release. That said, it just wouldn’t be a Gears release without the arrival of a controller or even special edition console based on the game, and it looks like the upcoming title’s controller may have leaked.

Thanks to Twitter user Idle Sloth, we have a look at what might possibly be the Gears 5 controller. Featuring a white, grey, and black color scheme, the Xbox One controller appears to be taking a minimalist approach with not a lot going on. Of course, that is if it is indeed a real product that will be arriving at some point in the future.

It is worth noting that while this does look authentic, it would be best to keep the salt handy. With enough skill and determination, just about anybody could create a convincing fake. Either way, with less than two months before release, we’ll know for sure if this is real in no time.
