Friday The 13th Game Update To Bring New Jason And Map Soon (VIDEO)
A Friday the 13th game update is incoming and soon, bringing with it a brand new Jason and map to continue on the slaughterfest. Otherwise known as Roy in the original film A New Beginning (1985), he has come back to haunt counselors with a deadly pair of gardening shears. There are also three other weapons being added to the arsenal for those looking for some variety, or simply a different method of hunting down other players. To get a peek at what’s to come, check out the narrated introductory video below:
We are happy to announce, at no additional charge, a NEW Jason and map coming to Friday the 13th: The Game. Are you ready to revisit the Pinehurst Youth Development Center? Along with the new map is of course Roy -ahem- Jason Voorhees as he was seen in A New Beginning. This version of the king of slashers comes equipped with a deadly set of gardening shears and three new weapon kills to trim down any counselors that cross his path.”
The Friday the 13th game update will arrive Tuesday, January 30th for PC, PS4, and Xbox One at no additional cost for players. However, for those looking forward to the Paranoia game mode, the team has yet to announce a release date since the initial reveal in October 2017. Alongside possible spoilers for those unfamiliar with the lore, the upcoming mode is highly anticipated to those seeking for more content.
As we hurdle toward the end of January, there’s no confirmed date yet, but it won’t be long now. What do you think of the brand new map and Jason? Who can say no to free?
