These Fresh Prince of Bel-Air PS4 and Xbox One Controllers Are Giving Us Major 90s Flashbacks

While a large portion of controllers out there are fairly simple, swapping color palettes on the shell and buttons makes those beloved gaming peripherals infinitely more individualize. Third party companies have begun to offer the ability to create your own designs when making controllers giving players further control in owning something a little more personal and unique. Recent mock up designs from Kustom Kontrollerz shows fans what Fresh Prince controllers could look like, and oh my god we need them NOW.

The Fresh Prince of Bel Air was a 90s sitcom featuring a young Will Smith. The show followed a fictional Will from West Philadelphia as he moves to Aunt and Uncle’s place in Bel Air after getting into a fight on a local basketball court. The designs created by Kustom Kontrollerz capture the essence of the show perfectly for both PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. From the neon color pattern that was so prominent in those days, to the classic graffiti stylings – these controllers practically scream 90s fashion.

Unfortunately the controllers are not for sale, at least not yet. In order for that to become a reality Kustom Kontrollerz would first need to gain the rights to use the brand. For now, fans can only hope that these controllers will someday make it out onto the open market. The company is creating more mock- ups straight out of the 80s and 90s including another recent release of a design inspired by the Wayans sitcom “In Living Color.”
