Get Overcooked for Free Now On the Epic Games Store for a Limited Time
While there’s plenty of debate going on about the viability of the Epic Games Store and the platform’s Steam-stealing exclusives, one can’t argue about the storefront’s consistent output of completely free games. Several notable titles have been offered up at no charge in the past, this week introducing the popular fast-paced chef game Overcooked as a freely-available freebie… for free!
For those unfamiliar, Overcooked is a cooking-based game with a chaotic atmosphere and an (optional) inclination toward co-operation. Preparing ingredients, cooking food, and cleaning dishes seems simple enough, especially as the game sports such a cute and colorful art style. However, players are also tasked with getting these meals out under a time limit, a result made increasingly difficult by an array of challenging kitchen stages, many containing obstacles and even transforming to an inconvenient degree.
Overcooked is now FREE in the #EpicGamesStore until July 11th!

Fans will have until July 11th at 10:59 EDT to collect their free copy of Overcooked on the Epic Store, after that the game will return to its usual price of $16.99 USD. Though, that end means a new beginning as Runic Games’ Torchlight is set to be the next freebie available on the PC platform, allowing players to fully own the stylish action-RPG at a 100% discount.
Outside the Epic Games Store, Overcooked is also available on Steam, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
