Fortnite ‘Update’ On Nintendo eShop Suggests Switch Reveal Coming Soon
Nowadays it is difficult to go for a walk and not trip over a Fortnite leak for the Nintendo Switch. Just this past week a Twitter user revealed a leaked image of Nintendo’s lineup of announcements for E3 2018, with one of the titles being none other than Epic Games’ Fortnite. Now, courtesy of yet another Twitter user, it appears that some parts of the game are already on the Nintendo eShop.
A Twitter user by the name of @SciresM posted a picture of an update file for the Nintendo eShop, one that required a version of Fortnite in order for it to properly install. Here it is below:

This seems to confirm what is being considered the ‘worst kept secret’ in recent memory: Fortnite is indeed headed to the Nintendo Switch, and likely with exclusive content to boot. The same Twitter user replied to his post with what appears to be the icon for the Nintendo eShop listing of Fortnite:

As always it is important to keep in mind that unless something has officially been confirmed, it should be taken with a grain of salt. That said, c’mon folks, it’s going to happen. Odds are with E3 2018 just a few days away, Nintendo will make the official announcement during its Nintendo Direct: E3 2018 presentation, which will likely be a ‘Now Available’ reveal.
The Nintendo Direct: E3 2018 presentation begins on June 12, 9am PT/12pm ET. Fortnite is now available for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
