Name of First Destiny 2 Raid and Other Details Leaked
The original Destiny proved to be a successful chance for Bungie to produce a major game title outside of the Halo universe that they have been known for. Fans of the original game have been eagerly awaiting the sequel set to arrive next month. Much of the information released so far has highlighted the story and character elements, which are looking to be a greater focus in the sequel moreso than they were in the original game. However, less information has been given about the gameplay modes and mechanics. However, we now have a bit more information with a new leak of achievement details, including the name of the first Destiny 2 raid.
On VGDB, the names of the new Destiny 2 achievements/trophies have been leaked, and while they are not terribly in-depth, they do provide some new intel. An achievement titled “Belly of the Beast” is apparently unlockable upon completion of the Leviathan raid. Leviathan in mythology typically refers to a large beast, but it is unknown whether or not this will translate to an actual creature, of if it is referring to a large enemy structure or ship.
Another interesting tidbit revealed with these leaks is the name change for the game’s hard mode. The “Heroic Mode” from Destiny 2 has now been re-named as Prestige Difficulty. The Leviathan raid must be rather important, as it has a specific trophy for beating it on Prestige Difficulty. Still, these achievements give a better idea of what players can expect from the sequel. However, it would be nice to know if any more wizards will come from the moon.
