Final Fantasy XV’s January Patch Adds Photography Feature for Noctis
It’s been two months since Final Fantasy XV’s long-awaited release and the developers behind this title have promised a wide variety of incoming content to spruce up the player’s experience. One of the most immediate changes? Selfies. Or, at least the ability to take them. Square-Enix is finally ready to pry the camera out of Prompto’s tiny hands and give Prince Noctis a chance to capture the stunning vistas and beautiful creatures of Eos with a new photography feature.
The self-photography feature, which lands on January 24, will allow players to take pictures freely while out of combat. Prompto won’t be the only one to capture the story’s moments with hilarious selfies – now it’s Noctis’ turn. There is no word yet on whether or not the pictures you take will count towards the 150 photo limit on Prompto’s camera, so you may have to pay more attention to your storage space, unless SE decides to either drop the image cap, or release a DLC camera with extra space for your pics.
The patch releasing this month will also include the start of the Moogle Chocobo Carnival, which we first covered here, as well as a few more goodies depending on whether or not you purchased the Season Pass prior to the patch landing, which can also be find here.
So, what do you think of the new patch? Are you ready to jump back into Eos and try out the new camera feature for yourself? Looking forward to seeing what the Moogle Chocobo Carnival has to offer? Sound off in the comments below, and stay tuned to DFTG for all the latest Final Fantasy XV news!
