Final Fantasy VII Remake On Sale For A Limited Time (VIDEO)
Final Fantasy VII Remake hit an important milestone recently, having shipped and digitally sold over five million copies worldwide and making it Square Enix’s highest selling digital release on PlayStation. In seeming celebration of this, Square Enix has announced that Final Fantasy VII Remake is on sale for a limited time.
We’d like to share a Midgar-sized THANK YOU to everyone who has supported #FinalFantasy VII Remake.

Square Enix recently took to Twitter to announce the impressive milestone, thanking its fans with a “Midgar-sized THANK YOU,” as is appropriate. On that same day the publisher released a new Final Fantasy VII Remake ‘101 video’ trailer, threading together gameplay clips with the occasional blurb from official reviews of the game. Check it out below:
Alongside the above trailer, Square Enix also announced that the Final Fantasy VII Remake is now available for up to 34% off. This drops the price from $59.99 down to $39.59, though the game is more than worth the full price. As a warning, the sale price doesn’t apply to all versions of the remake. The physical Deluxe Edition, for example, is still $79.99, though the Digital Deluxe Edition – available right here – drops from $79.99 to $52.79. The sale is running through August 19th, so if you haven’t pulled the trigger on a beautiful return to form for Square Enix, now’s your chance.
The first entry in the Final Fantasy VII Remake series is now available exclusively for the PlayStation 4.
