Final Fantasy 15 Windows Edition Gets Weird With The Sims 4 Crossover DLC (VIDEO)
Final Fantasy 15 Windows Edition is getting a rather unexpected crossover with The Sims. Square Enix and Electronic Arts have announced that those who purchase the PC version of Final Fantasy 15 from Origin – EA’s PC platform – will receive a pair of Sims-themed outfits. The two outfits are based on the Llama Suit from The Sims 4, both of which feature the iconic Sims plumbob. Check out the reveal trailer below to see one of the outfits in action:
Those looking to acquire The Sims outfits for Final Fantasy 15 Windows Edition need only purchase the game via Origin between March 6 and May 1, 2018. Rest assured, the availability of the outfits will not change between the single player campaign and the game’s multiplayer expansion, Comrades, meaning that both the members of the Kingsglaive and Noctis can rock the Llama Suits. EA is also showing The Sims 4 some Final Fantasy love, as starting on March 8, players will be able to download a Noctis outfit for their Sim.
It is nice to see that Origin has an exclusive set of outfits for Final Fantasy 15 Windows Edition, as up until now the only real draw for purchasing the game through EA was the FFXV Decal Selection for the Regalia. Those still weighing their options should know that purchasing the title through Steam before May 1 will reward players with the Half-Life pack, which features an exclusive Half-Life costume and accessories. Purchasing the game through the Windows Store may be the most worthwhile for some, as that version of the game features cross-play functionality with those playing on the Xbox One.
Final Fantasy 15 Windows Edition arrives on PC on March 6, 2018, with a demo of the game now available for download.. Final Fantasy XV is now available on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, and Chibi-version Final Fantasy 15: Pocket Edition is now available on Android and iOS devices.
