This Female Sephiroth Cosplay Has Us Hyped For The Final Fantasy VII Remake

There may come a day when DFTG isn’t talking about the magnificence that is Final Fantasy VII’s Sephiroth, but it is most certainly not this day. With Square Enix’s Final Fantasy VII Remake arriving at some point within the – hopefully – next few years, fans new and old are gearing up for what will likely be a massive resurgence in popularity for Cloud cosplays, Sephiroth cosplays, and everything in between. As such, we have reached back and pulled out an old favorite cosplay of ours featuring the One-Winged Angel. Check out the amazing female Sephiroth cosplay below:

The above cosplay is by Mythic Roots Design and Cosplay, and it is absolutely phenomenal. The photo is by Darshelle Stevens, for those wondering. This isn’t her first rodeo with a popular series either, as she has previously done cosplays for Star Wars, World of Warcraft, and even Draven from League of Legends. Check out the artist’s Facebook profile for more of her amazing work.

Check out the character description of Sephiroth, courtesy of the official Wiki page:

“Before his fall from grace, Sephiroth was one of the most lauded success stories of the Shinra Electric Power Company’s SOLDIER program. A great warrior idolized by the public and infantrymen alike for his strength and discipline in combat, Sephiroth’s many successes in the field of battle during the conflicts surrounding the Shinra Electric Power Company’s bid for global domination led to his status as a celebrity war hero and the poster boy for both the Shinra Military and the company’s SOLDIER program. Learning of his true origins drove him insane, causing him to be driven by a new desire to destroy the world.”

Final Fantasy VII Remake will be available at some point in the future.
