Car Lovers Unite – The Fate of the Furious Rocket League DLC is Coming (VIDEO)

Furious Rocket League DLC

Psyonix’s Rocket League has grown to be one of the more popular and longest supported modern games in the racing and sports genres, largely due to its simple, but addicting gameplay and its use of automobiles to perform stunts that real-life cars would find difficult or impossible to achieve. Speaking of ridiculous, over-the-top car stunts – The Fate of the Furious, the eighth film in the Fast and the Furious franchise, releases in just a few weeks. To celebrate with a cross-promotion, Psyonix has announced a new The Fate of the Furious Rocket League DLC. Check out the trailer below:

The new announcement has been made on the official Rocket League website detailing the contents of the new DLC made in partnership with Universal Pictures and Dodge. It will let players drive the Dodge Ice Charger driven by Vin Diesel’s character, Dom Toretto, in the new Furious film. The $1.99 DLC pack will include the Ice Charger, as well as Ice Charger premium wheels and six decals: Clean Cut, Crazy Sandwich, Flames, Rakugaki, Rally, and CCCXL. The Ice Charger will also allow for full customization, so you can imagine Dom driving a pink Dodge as he pushes a giant ball into a goal.

The DLC will be available on April 4th for the PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One versions of Rocket League, and The Fate of the Furious arrives in theaters on April 14th. There’s no word yet on any additional upcoming Furious content, such as a Furious Seven car driven by CG Paul Walker which makes your car exhibit a crying emote while Wiz Khalifa’s “See You Again” plays.
