Fable Fortune – The RPG Inspired Card Game Arrives to Early Access Next Month (VIDEO)

Fable Fortune, the Fable inspired collectible card game will be debuting next month on Xbox One and PC (via Steam) next month as an Early Access title. Developed by Flaming Flow Studios and Mediatonic, this CCG takes the fantastical and iconic elements of the RPG series and brings it alive in a different medium. If that means choosing between the side of good and evil, players get to make a choice as they compete in campaign battles. Collect and customize your own deck to beat the very best, or team up with friends for a co-operative gameplay experience. Take a look at the trailer below:

Fable Fortune combines pioneering CCG systems with some of the Fable’s most cherished moments; featuring timeless heroes, despicable villains, armies of bemused (and conveniently expendable) peasants, and some good old fashioned, family-friendly necromancy.

Choose from one of six Heroes each sporting diverse powers and cards, and set forth to crush your opponents under a hobbe-nailed boot in either classic PVP mode, or the unique and fully integrated Co-op mode. Discover how the iconic Alignment mechanic can be used to shift heroes towards a good or evil path during play; transforming their powers, altering their card effects, and turning the tide of battle in one chicken-kicking* hand.

There is a Founder’s Pack available for those interested in purchasing before the game arrives. It will run you $15 and contains an exclusive “Chicken Vengeant Trophy Card”, “very rare Giant Egg card”, and 20 separate card packs. Fable Fortune will become a free-to-play game later this year, but in buying the founder’s bundle, players have an opportunity to support the developers as they continue to polish things up. There will be a nice little discount during the first week of launch, so watch out for that!

So, gamers, will you be diving on into Fable Fortune with a Founder’s Pack? Or will you be waiting until the public reveal later this year? Feel free to leave any thoughts or comments in the section below or begin a conversation on Don’t Feed the Gamers official Facebook and Twitter!
