Fall Guys Xbox And Switch Ports Delayed, Crossplay Inbound

Fall Guys

Players on PC and PlayStation 4 have been enjoying Fall Guys since it was released, with all of the stumbling action planned for a launch on the likes of Nintendo Switch and Xbox One. Unfortunately, it has now been announced that these ports have been delayed, but we do know that crossplay is coming.

In a new post on the game’s website, the Blunderdome Construction Crew outlines what is going on behind the scenes of Fall Guys. While the game was supposed to come to Switch and Xbox this summer, it has been delayed “to include all of the tasty new features we’re working on,” reads the post. One of these features happens to be crossplay, which will allow players to stumble with those on other platforms.

“While we want to launch on these platforms as quickly as possible, we believe the Switch and Xbox releases are really going to be worth waiting for and we’re super grateful for your patience,” reads the post. “This delay gives our team some time to add features like crossplay, so when we add new platforms, players will be able to stumble in harmony with their pals, regardless of their platform of choice.”

In addition to the news that Fall Guys has been delayed on Xbox and Switch, the team notes that they are continuing to grow to make sure the game is in the best shape it can be in. Seasonal content will continue to come out along with new costumes, shows, and much more. Season 4.5 is the next big update, but is currently without a specific release date.

Fall Guys is currently available on PC and PlayStation 4, with the Xbox and Switch ports expected to arrive at some point after Summer 2021. Keep it tuned to Don’t Feed the Gamers as this story develops, and for other gaming goodness going on right now, check out the following:
