Entei is Now Available for Pokemon GO Players in America
Announced two months ago, the Pokemon Company and Niantic have teamed up to bring some Johto legendaries to Pokemon GO. Having commenced in August, Raikou (Electric), Entei (Fire), and Suicune (Water) have made their rounds around the globe for Trainers to battle and sweep up into their repertoire. It’s no coincidence that the title that these sweet catches originate from are the Gold and Silver versions that have also been re-released for the Nintendo 3DS. Unfortunately, the trio is not available simultaneously for one region. The first one to show up in America was Raikou from August 31st through September 30th.
Next of course, starting with this October is Entei – the legendary fire-type. Alongside the birds known in Pokemon Gold and Silver – Ho-Oh and Lugia – these three were hard finds in the Johto region, but definitely worth it when going against the Elite Four.

Eventually, Suicune will make her way to America as well and will likely appear toward the end of the month. Be vigilant, Pokemon Trainers, for these guys are only available for a short window of time before the chance is missed. Speaking of Chansey, did you know that there’s still a wee bit of time left before the Pokemon GO equinox event is over? The opportunity to earn double Stardust for catches, egg hatching, and special 2km eggs for Chansey, Mareep, Larvitar, and many others until it ends on October 2nd at 1PM PST.
