Dragon Ball FighterZ Final DLC Character Leaked

Anime-based fighting title Dragon Ball FighterZ has seen an energetic spirit bomb of success since it released over a year ago, the game consistently updated with a steady string of events and character DLC over the past few months. The vibrant brawler was popular enough to spark a new season of content, the ensuing second FighterZ Pass highlighting a formidable array of contenders such as Jiren as well as the hulking canon version of Broly.

While it’s been a while since we’ve seen an update in that regard, it appears the next entrant in Arc System Works’ competitive fighting game has now seemingly been revealed. In an apparent leak from Nintendo UK, a very telling web page was briefly live on the website, it revealing Dragon Ball Z: Fusion Reborn villain Janemba as the game’s next DLC fighter. Detailing “a demon of pure evil” the page has since been taken down, though a look at the leak can be seen in the screenshotted image below.

According to the leaked page, the DLC is set to include a playable Janemba in addition to five alternate color outfits. The purple monster is also set to come with his own Lobby Avatar, as well as a special Z-Stamp themed around the character. While a release date was included (January 31st), it doesn’t appear to be anything more than a placeholder for the time being. However, players likely won’t have long to wait, as the listing’s (albeit brief) existence suggests an announcement is preparing to take place sometime soon.

A detailed page such as this would all but confirm Janemba’s inclusion as Dragon Ball FighterZ DLC, the interdimensional villain seemingly being the last remaining fighter to join Season 2’s lineup. This hasn’t been the only evidence, as Xbox’s Major Nelson also mistakenly foretold the demonic character’s arrival much earlier than intended. With competitive event EVO 2019 just around the corner, it’s looking likely that we’ll have a repeat of last year’s event and see the introduction an all-new DBFZ reveal.

Dragon Ball FighterZ is out now for Nintendo Switch, PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
