DOOM Eternal Receiving Officially Licensed “Bone Vodka”

DOOM Eternal

Bethesda has a knack for bringing fans unique cross-promotional items for titles under their purview. Fallout 76, for example, saw the creation of Nuka Dark Rum, an alcoholic beverage that unfortunately received mixed reviews across the board. Still, that hasn’t stopped Bethesda from their strange and unique promotional items, this time delivering a “Bone Vodka” for the upcoming DOOM Eternal.

Bethesda released a Tweet stating that the developer has partnered up with The Rebel Distillers, a company that works with a wide variety of ingredients and botanicals to craft some extremely unique spirits. The DOOM Bone Vodka is one such spirit, using a unique ingredient to evoke the imagery of a hellish landscape.

Bone Vodka is a spirit that uses marrow extracted from real beef bones that has been smoked and roasted before being “macerated into a neutral grain alcohol” as a report states. From here the spirit is distilled at low temperatures within a vacuum still to bring forth the flavors of fire and brimstone. The DOOM Bone Vodka claims to be a world-first and sounds like it will be quite the interesting flavor profile for connoisseurs of hard liquor.

DOOM Eternal is set to arrive on November 22nd for PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch and Google Stadia. Fans can pre-order a bottle of the DOOM Bone Vodka for themselves at the price of $55.28.
