Destiny 2 Preload Date Revealed for the Upcoming Shooter from Bungie

Pre-Load

For Destiny fans, the highly anticipated sequel can’t come soon enough. With a few months left before the release, developers and fans alike are gearing up for Bungie’s next big title, and there has been plenty of hype to go along with it. One bit of news that have many fans (mainly PlayStation 4 fans) excited, however, is the reveal of the Destiny 2 preload date for the title to coincide with its earlier release schedule already confirmed.

PlayStation 4 gamers have noticed a new toggle on the Destiny 2 page, which allows for an auto-download on September 3rd. . A preload date offers up a chance for players to download the game in intervals, which negates a possible bottleneck of everyone downloading the game at once. Bungie has already switched a few things around with their release date and how the team will handle the stress put on servers, the Destiny 2 preload option will give gamers a chance to get a head start on their game time!

So far, no word from Microsoft has been given on a date for Xbox One, but that doesn’t mean Bungie won’t make comment about the possible preload soon. In the meantime, players should check back with DFTG for more updates on the upcoming release of Destiny 2, which will officially launch on September 6th.
