Destiny 2: Beyond Light Explores Europa In Ominous And Action Filled Trailer (VIDEO)
Bungie has released a new trailer for the latest Destiny 2 expansion Beyond Light. The slightly ominous trailer takes you through the frozen moon of Europa to the latest threat that lies beneath the Pyramid. According to the Bungie website it describes the expansion as “The splintered houses of the Fallen have rallied and built their new Empire on the icy moon of Europa. Brave the unrelenting glacial frontier, infiltrate the Golden Age Braytech facility, and uncover the secrets that lie deep under the ancient ice.”
Bungie also goes on to say “power is born out of the ancient Pyramid ship above Europa’s frozen frontier and a dark empire has risen beneath. In Destiny 2: Beyond Light, you will bring down the empire at any cost – even if it means wielding the Darkness itself.” Check out the trailer below:
Destiny 2: Beyond Light allows players to explore Stasis, a new power that is described as “cold, dark and alluring” which opens up new Guardian sub-classes. You can read more about stasis here. The expansion not only offers the new story quests, it also adds an additional raid with the Deep Stone Crypt and be able to learn more about what the Pyramids and Darkness mean within the story. It’s currently available for pre-order in four different tiers ranging from standard to the collector’s edition.
Destiny 2: Beyond Light will be available on November 10th, 2020 for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PC and Stadia with free upgrades for same family next-gen consoles (Xbox One to Xbox Series X, PS4 to PS5).
