Destiny 2 Art Book to Arrive Shortly After the Video Game Launches

Destiny 2 art book

Destiny 2 is still four months away, but that doesn’t mean the hype train has to slow down. With a livestream event planned for later this month, fans can anticipate the gameplay that is to be unveiled there, which will also include PC footage. Of course, this all comes after the announcement of the game, the hilarious teaser featuring Nathan Fillion as Cayde-6, the actual trailer for the title, and the general excitement from fans that it is actually happening. To make the launch of the upcoming video game even better, a Destiny 2 art book is set to arrive around the same time.

The Art of Destiny 2 will provide fans of the game with a better look at the process of developing the title. Bungie and Activision will do this by stuffing the Destiny 2 art book with character sketches, concept art, “paintings of sweeping vistas,” and much more. A description can be seen below:

The Art of Destiny 2 is a celebration of the dynamic art and visual style that fans have come to love about Destiny. Featuring hundreds of pieces of concept art, the book covers everything from early sketches and illustrations of characters to paintings of sweeping vistas the designers used to help shape the in-game worlds. Each step of the process is meticulously detailed, from building in-game cinematics to crafting the complex universe. With exclusive, never-before-seen imagery, developer commentary, and more, The Art of Destiny 2 is a must-have for Guardians everywhere.”

The Destiny 2 art book is 216 pages and is set to arrive around the same time as the video game. It follows a long line of franchises that release companion books to provide more depth into the universe of gamers’ favorite titles. A hardcover version can be pre-ordered at Amazon for $37.89 right now, but it is showing a September 8 release date. This is the same day that Destiny 2 launches for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One, however, some retailers are showing October 3 as the day it becomes available. Needless to say, The Art of Destiny 2 will be arriving within a month of the game. Check back in with Don’t Feed the Gamers to stay updated on the impending release of this book.
