Death Stranding’s PlayStation 4 File Size Revealed
With Death Stranding now less then a month away, fans are more excited than ever to get their hands on the mysterious new title from Kojima Productions. As we’ve crept closer to the finish line the developer has been releasing new tidbits of information for us to gobble down, with some of the more recent news revealing that there are some NPCs that will live or die depending on the player’s choices. Now, on the more technical side of things, the minimum file size requirement for Death Stranding on PlayStation 4 has been revealed.
The news comes by way of a product listing over on the Best Buy website. Most of the info seen in the listing is stuff we’ve heard before, though one of the promo images included reveals via small text that the minimum install file size requirement for the game is 55 GB. 55 Gigs is nothing to scoff at but it could be much worse, so those looking to chuck the game onto their hard drives likely won’t need to move too much around in order to squeeze it in.

In related news, we’ll soon be learning even more about Death Stranding thanks to a recently announced ‘World Strand’ tour that is set to begin later this month. Not much is currently know about the tour, though it spans nine different locations throughout the world leading up to the game’s early November release date. Per the above tweet, we’ll be learning more about it soon.
Death Stranding releases on November 8, 2019 exclusively for the PlayStation 4.
