This Dark Soul Ornstein Collectible Statue Is The Perfect Tribute To The Dragonslayer

Ornstein

First 4 Figures has revealed a stunningly-detailed statue of Dragonslayer Ornstein, an iconic boss from the Dark Souls series. Ornstein made his first debut in the original Dark Souls, where he stood alongside his rather heavy-set friend, Executioner Smough, in a cathedral in Anor Londo. Players must face off against them both at the same time, and when one of the bosses is defeated, the surviving boss powers up. Despite the obvious lack of his comrade-in-arms Smough, the knight is certainly imposing in his own right, standing atop a stone base and wielding his Dragonslayer Spear.

The folks over at First 4 Figures released a new trailer on January 12 introducing us to the beautiful statue, which can be found below:

As seen above, the Ornstein statue is incredibly ornate and detailed, and as such, the statue is a bit pricey. The statue is being sold in two separate editions: a Regular edition, and an Exclusive edition. Both editions come with a price point of $599.99, with each edition offering a few different bonus collectibles. The Regular edition comes with the statue, the base, and an authentication card, while the Exclusive edition additionally comes with an extra arm that wields the Dragonslayer Spear with added lightning effects and LEDs. Those that pre-order the Ornstein statue or purchase it during the ‘Day One’ time frame will also earn a few extra bonus collectibles, including a Signature Card signed by Alex Davis, a Day One edition Hologram Sticker, and extra F4F Reward Points. The statue is expected to ship in Q4 of 2018.

It is an incredible time for Dark Souls fans, especially since it was just announced that the original game is getting remastered for the Nintendo Switch, PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. The remastered Dark Souls arrives on the previously mentioned consoles on May 25, 2018.
