Dark Horse Appeals to Buffy Fans – New Adult Buffy the Vampire Slayer Colouring Book is Out Now

I’m going to go ahead and state the obvious: Dark Horse is cool. Like, really cool. Some of my favourite comics have come been brought to life through them with video game comic adaptations, some of my favourite novels becoming “comic-fied”, and just their overall representation is great. Not to mention, the Buffy comics are FAN-freaking-tastic (see what I did there? Because I’m a fan? I’ll see myself out). Now fans of the Hellmouth crushing, vampire slaying (or loving, depending on the season), god killing series can enjoy their favourite characters in an all new way – ala colouring books.

Adult colouring books are nothing new but they have definitely become more popularized through the years. Life can get stressful, it’s nice to sit back and just let your hands take over when using colour to enhance all new worlds. Maybe you wanted to see what Spike would have looked like with pink hair? Or Xander as a blonde (ew, no)? Now you can with this latest piece of fandom that includes 45 pages of incredibly detailed black and white line work ready for you to get your hands on.

Enter the world of the Slayer, the Chosen One who wields the skill to fight vampires, demons, and the forces of darkness . . . Favorite characters and moments from the beloved television series are represented in this delightful adult coloring book. Containing 45 black-and-white, detailed, and original illustrations, you can add color to Buffy and Co.—and, of course, all the Big Bads!”

The artists featured include Karl Moline (who also did the cover art), Rebeka Isaacs, Georges Jeanty, Yishan Li, Steve Morris, and Newsha Ghasemi. With 96 pages total, you can purchase this bad boy yourself for $14.99 from either their website or from your local comic book shop. The site even has a nifty “comic shop locator” to see if you’ve got one near you that might have one in person to check out.
