Buffy the Vampire Slayer coming to a Tabletop near you!

Ah, Sunnydale – how we’ve missed your Hellmouth-ey ways. Now fans can revisit their favourite hunting grounds for the Scooby gang in an all new way as the world of Tabletop continues to grow.

Jasco Games and Lynnvander are teaming up to create an epic new board game styled after the world that Buffy fans fell in love with. It will be a 1-6 player co-op experience that will have the player fighting alongside some familiar faces while fighting to protect the intense world of Sunnydale, California.

Whether you are team Spike or Angel, Anya or Willow, or simply in it to see some Xander goodness – this game will bring fans of all kinds the joy of vampire slaying in an all new way. Just like in the show and the coinciding comic series, the team must once again work together to stop the hoard of vampire, demons, and other oogly booglies bent on destruction at our beloved Hellmouth.

Buffy Game

As far as specifics to game play, mechanics, and specific fighting style – mum is still the word – but more details are expected to be announced soon. We do know that the game is expected to drop sometime in October, perfect for the coming Halloween, and will retail for $39.99.

The World of Tabletop is expanding fast with magical and brutal worlds like the Labyrinth, Bloodborne and Dark Souls all coming to a coffee table near you. So what do you Slayers in training think? Are you excited for this? Sound off with your comments below!
