WATCH: New Danganronpa Series Trailer Showcases The Greatness Of The Entire Franchise
There’s no doubt that the Danganronpa series is fantastic – one full of thrills and mysteries to solve. Developer Spike Chunsoft just dropped a trailer for the franchise and although it’s not what hard-core fans were hoping for, it’s a great tribute to a fantastic series of games and perhaps an introduction to fresh faces. There is technically a fourth game, which is the spin-off titled “Another Episode: Ultra Despair Girls“, the series is known for their three main titles. Though their most recent installment was released as recently as October 2017 for those residing outside of Japan, fans are already anticipating a brand new title. After all, this thrilling visual novel, adventure series pulls players by a string and simply leaves you wanting more.
In their latest Danganronpa V3: Killing Harmony, sixteen brand new characters are captured and imprisoned within a school. Within the confines of the building, each must figure out what’s going on while escaping the very possibility of death. Figure out the truth behind these mysterious circumstances by participating in fast-paced debates and numerous other brain-teasers, but it won’t be easy. Here’s an official synopsis:
Welcome to a new world of Danganronpa, and prepare yourself for the biggest, most exhilarating episode yet. Set in a “psycho-cool” environment, a new cast of 16 characters find themselves kidnapped and imprisoned in a school. Inside, some will kill, some will die, and some will be punished. Reimagine what you thought high-stakes, fast-paced investigation was as you investigate twisted murder cases and condemn your new friends to death.”
