The second episode of Night City Wire has officially arrived, offering players an even better look at the upcoming Cyberpunk 2077. One of the main focuses of the showcase was the lifepaths that players will be able to pick at the beginning of the game.

We’ve already learned a bit about Street Kids, Nomads, and Corpos, which are the three lifepaths players will be able to choose from when creating their character in Cyberpunk 2077. For starters, Street Kids, as the name would suggest, grew up in Night City. They know the ins and outs of the city, are familiar with the gangs that also inhabit the city, and more.

As for the Nomads, they come from outside of Night City, which is also an area known as the Badlands. Nomads are part of a clan, but feel the desire to make their way to Night City. When Cyberpunk 2077 players choose this lifepath, their journey will begin with breaking free from their clan and finding a way to get to the big city. Corpos, on the other hand, have always been there. They have climbed the corporate ladder to make a name for themselves in the upper echelon of Night City’s society. Of course, with Cyberpunk 2077 being a role-playing game, players will always have a choice, even after they choose their lifepath. Depending on the lifepath a player chooses, certain dialogue options will be available later down the road. One example provided was a mission where V is tasked with stealing a robot from a gang. The Corpo may know the reason behind the mission when they talk to the person in charge, while a Street Kid won’t be able to see that sort of dialogue. Needless to say, replayability will be high.
