Cyberpunk 2077 Will Have Complete Expansions, Ending Is “Very Rewarding”
Now that we finally have an official release date for CD Projekt RED’s highly anticipated Cyberpunk 2077, fans know exactly how much longer they will have to wait until they get their hands on the game. That said, this year’s E3 has brought forth a plethora of information regarding the game, including what players can expect in terms of a satisfying ending.
Speaking with our friends over at Prima Games, UI coordinator Alvin Liu touched on the type of content fans will be encountering upon the end of their journeys. “We are talking about expansions in the future,” he said. “We want to make sure everything’s complete, but we also want to build open worlds. I know when I was playing The Witcher 3 and I finished everything, I still want to know what everyone was up to. I think we’re going to have opportunities like that as well for Cyberpunk 2077.”
Without dropping any specific details about what players will see in Cyberpunk 2077, Liu continued to note how the ending itself is going to be “very rewarding” for those who dive into Night City. “So I don’t want to spoil anything right now, but very satisfying story arc, right? You’re going to see characters and you’ll see them develop,” he said. “You’re going to see them go through conflicts and resolve those conflicts. It’ll be a very rewarding ending.
We’re not withholding content, we’re not withholding story for the future to try to, you know, monetize it or sell it in pieces or anything like that. You’re going to get the whole, full value game here.”
It is definitely great to hear that CDPR intends to offer players the full experience of Cyberpunk 2077 up front, with additional goodies to arrive later. Needless to say, the game is shaping up to be one for the ages, and we cannot wait to get our hands on it.
Cyberpunk 2077 is set to arrive on April 16, 2020 for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. Keep it tuned to Don’t Feed the Gamers as this story develops, and for other gaming goodness going on right now, check out the following:
