Cyber Shadow Release Date Confirmed For Early Next Year (VIDEO)

Cyber Shadow

Cyber Shadow was revealed all the way back in 2019, giving fans of ninja action and platformers something to look forward to. The title aims to be a combination of various different mechanics that have been influenced by the likes of the Mario franchise, Ninja Gaiden, Contra, and even Batman, making for a unique and flavorful spin on the action-platformer genre. Soon, players will be able to finally step into the tabi of Shadow, a cyborg ninja on a quest to save his fallen clan.

Earlier this year during the Yacht Club Games Presents show it was revealed that Cyber Shadow was set to arrive in 2021, though no official release date was given. A new trailer has recently debuted showing off some new gameplay from Cyber Shadow alongside the title’s official release date, January 26th, 2021. Check out the release trailer below:

The latest Nintendo Direct also gives a few extra details concerning the use of Amiibos on the Nintendo version of the game. Players will be able to use Shovel Knight figures to gain exclusive support characters that assist the player in various ways. Not only will Shovel Knight himself as well as Plague Knight and many other familiar characters from the Yacht Club franchise.

Cyber Shadow is set to launch on January 26th for PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch. The title is right in line with the 2d platformer lineup that the publisher has already released filled with unique 8-bit sprites, impressive visuals, and a wonderful soundtrack to experience when the game finally makes its debut to the world.
