Curse Of Osiris DLC Content Unveiled For Destiny 2 PS4 Exclusive (GALLERY)

Osiris DLC

Fans playing Destiny 2 on PS4 may have some exciting news to look forward to as the game continues to receive expansions. While it’s true that PS4 already has exclusive content for the game, it seems that DLC content is also getting some exclusives as well. The Curse of Osiris DLC is one such example, giving at least one piece of exclusive content before the other platforms.

The Paris Games Week showcase had a lot to offer from Sony. While they revealed plenty of exclusives for other games, little was said about Destiny and the Curse of Osiris DLC. Bungie did, however, tease on the PlayStation Blog that an exclusive Crucible map would be available to PS4 players.

The details on the new PS4 exclusive map included with the Curse of Osiris DLC are, so far, a bit scarce. There are screenshots (as seen above) that seem to reveal New Pacific Arcology as the location. For those who have made it to Titan in the campaign may recognize the setting. Whether or not this is the actual place remains to be confirmed.

Fans looking to get their feet wet in the exclusive PS4 map can get it with the Curse of Osiris DLC on December 5th. The DLC releases on Xbox One and PC on the same date, but without the cool new map. The expansion will add free roam activities, a world quest, raid content, missions, new social space, and a higher level cap. The setting is expected to take place on Mercury and the Infinite Forest.

How do you feel about exclusive content being particular to specific consoles? Does it incentivize players to own more than one? Join in on the conversation in the comment section below! Don’t forget to follow DFTG on Twitter for live gaming and entertainment news 24/7!
