Call of Duty: Warzone 'Metro Subway' Reportedly Opening Next Season

As with other battle royale games, the map of Call of Duty: Warzone has undergone some changes as seasons go by. Most recently, Verdansk saw the massive stadium get blown wide open, allowing players to go inside and collect loot as well as uncover some interesting new secrets. Still, rumors and previous leaks have hinted that even more will be on the way including a recent indication that fans may be seeing more of the Verdansk Metro system next season.

Call of Duty: Warzone Season 5 brought with it a train that traverses the map filled with goodies for players to pick up. A leak from earlier this month shows an image featuring what appears to be the full metro system  where said train comes from, with access points all across the map.

Verdansk International Airport, Verdansk Stadium, Gorengard Lumber Yard, Downtown Tavorsk District, Barakett Promenade East, Verdansk Train Station, and Torsk Bloc all make up the various stops that a subway train can follow, potentially giving way to some interesting fights underground or even some great ways to ambush other players. There’s been no word from the developers whether the leak is real or not, though perhaps as the game gets closer to the release of Season 6 fans will learn more.

Call of Duty: Warzone is currently available for PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4.

It would be interesting to see the Metro system open up within the game, giving players access to new ways to traverse the world and duke it out underground.
