Call Of Duty: Black Ops Cold War And Warzone Will Share A Battle Pass
Call of Duty players have been sinking some serious time into the popular Warzone battle royale mode that arrived earlier this year, and with a new franchise installment on the way, some people have questions. One such query is in regards to the battle pass, but as it turns out, Black Ops Cold War and Warzone will share the same one.
Following the info dump for Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, plenty of details were revealed, including release date, various editions, and much more. A lot of it has seemingly been confusing for some fans, but one thing the team at Activision made clear is about the battle pass. Much like recent installments in the series, Cold War will have a battle pass, but it will also be Warzone’s battle pass.
“The Battle Pass system will unlock post-launch content with unified progression across both Black Ops Cold War and Call of Duty: Warzone,” reads the Activision website. “Unlock items like base weapons, customization items, and more simply by playing the game.”
Of course, this makes sense as we have learned in the past that Warzone will continue to evolve with future Call of Duty franchise entries. It will be interesting to see what comes of the popular battle royale mode and exactly how it plans to grow alongside future titles.
Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War is set to officially arrive on November 13th for PC via Battle.net, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One, with next-gen versions launching later this year.
