Since the big Call of Duty (CoD) announcement, fans have been happier than ever since they officially let the world know that the latest installment will surround the World War 2 era, like previous games in the franchise. Other than the obvious title, Call of Duty WWII, not much else has been revealed as of yet. That is until a possible leak in Australia emerged.

According to sources, some marketing materials have arrived in Australia ahead of the worldwide premiere live stream that is to take place April 26. The supposed marketing pamphlets give brief descriptions on the story, gameplay modes, a release date, and a private beta for those that pre-order this year’s CoD title. According to the materials, CoD WWII will be released on Friday, November 3, 2017. The descriptions read as follows:

• Game Description: Call of Duty returns to its roots with Call of Duty: WWII–a breathtaking experience that redefines World War II for a new gaming generation. Land in Normandy on D-Day and battle across Europe through iconic locations in history’s most monumental war. Experience classic Call of Duty combat, the bonds of camaraderie, and the unforgiving nature of war against a global power throwing the world into tyranny.
• The Definitive World War II Campaign: Call of Duty: WWII tells the story of an unbreakable brotherhood of common men fighting to preserve freedom in a world on the brink of tyranny. Players enlist in a gritty intense journey through the battlegrounds of war. The campaign features bold, lifelike visuals with the kind of blockbuster cinematic authenticity that only Call of Duty can deliver.
• Boots on the Ground Multiplayer: Call of Duty: WWII multiplayer engages players grounded, fast-paced combat across many of World War II’s most iconic locations. Players will also enjoy exciting new ways to interact and socialize with their friends and the Call of Duty community.
• High-Octane Co-Operative: Call of Duty: WWII’s co-operative mode unleashes a new and original story. Play with your friends in this next-level standalone game experience full of unexpected, adrenaline-pumping moments.

Keep in mind that until Activision and/or Sledgehammer Games confirms these to be true, it is purely speculation and rumor. With the worldwide live stream just days away, fans can expect to get a taste of what’s to come for Call of Duty WWII. After all, the fans are responsible for the franchise’s decision to go back to one of the most hellacious wars in human history.
