Finally, people are excited about a Call of Duty title again after years of tumultuous reception from players of the long-standing franchise. With Call of Duty: WW2 bringing back the series to its “roots”, more and more gamers are showing their excitement for the upcoming title and the team over at Sledgehammer Games does not want to disappoint. Because of this, the team behind the upcoming shooter have released the new map called London Docks to keep the hype up. After all, it was voted the most anticipated game of the season – that’s a lot to live up to!

The Sledgehammer Twitter took to make the official announcement and the first real look at the London Docs & Gridiron! From the timeline of the game itself, and in-line with actual historical events, it looks to be set during the Second World War’s London Blitz. With the team over at Sledgehammer Games working closely with highly acclaimed historians, the map will be enjoyable for both casual FPS fans, and those looking for their history fix.
