Borderlands 3 is still some time away from launch, but now that fans of the franchise have received a good look at official gameplay, the hype is real. That said, not all questions have been answered, nor should they be before release, but that hasn’t stopping anyone from wondering about the upcoming title’s endgame contents.

Thankfully, Borderlands 3 lead boss designer Matt Cox touched on few things players can expect after the comes out later this year. Speaking with VG247, Cox reassured fans that there will be four paid story DLCs, much like other entries in the series. Unfortunately, he didn’t divulge what these extra content packs will contain. In addition to this, the title will be getting raids and special events.

“We’re going to be releasing more details about the endgame around E3,” he said. “Like any other Borderlands game, we will have four story-based DLCs. We’ll have special events as well as raids. The details on how that shakes out will be announced later, but there’s plenty of endgame.”

It’s always good to know that there will be plenty to do in Borderlands 3. After all, the developers have already said that the next game is bigger than any before it, which certainly has to be true considering we can leave Pandora for other planets. Needless to say, a bunch of content is inbound later this year, and it’s going to likely be glorious.
