Battlefield 1’s E3 Showing Gives Fans a New Trailer and More

Battlefield 1's E3 Showing

E3 has begun. During their press conference, EA unveiled plans for the future of Battlefield 1 leading up to the long anticipated “In the Name of the Tsar” DLC coming out this September. DICE and EA plan to release regular updates for players to enjoy, expanding the game further. The Battlefield 1‘s E3 showing of the livestream began with a player appreciation piece celebrating the community of the title with a compilation of gameplay and commentary of various streamers.

Two maps are coming to Battlefield 1 before In the Name of the Tsar. Nivelle Nights features trench warfare during the night and will release this month. The Prise de Tahure map will release in July and feature a cityscape similar to Amiens at dusk.

In the Name of the Tsar will feature the Russian army, of course, as well as 8 new maps including the Lupkow Pass which will be able to be played during EA Play at E3. Also coming to the Russian DLC are the Hussar Cavalry, the legendary Womens Battalion of Death, new multi-battle experiences, weapons, and vehicles. This will be the first time female soldiers will be a part of a Battlefield game.

There will soon be a new competitive experience coming to Battlefield 1 as well. After fans requested a smaller and tighter Battlefield experience, it seems DICE and EA have listened and will be bringing fans more in August. Be sure to tune in to DFTG then for more information.
