Bandai Namco Is Teasing A New Horror Game Project
Bandai Namco has quite a few game releases coming up, with the highly-anticipated Code Vein leading the charge when it arrives late next month. Now, the publisher seems to be switching gears in the form of a “Summer Horror Project” that is being teased through a new website.
The Bandai Namco teaser site was discovered by Gematsu, though as with most teasers, the website offers very little details as to what the actual game is. The site – which can be seen here – is set up in a found-footage type of shot, with what appears to be some sort of recorder lens watching a dark, rather unsettling house, with an even more unsettling sky. Here’s how it looks:
According to Gematsu, the meta keywords for the website include “Zombie” and “Horror,” and those that click on the Twitter icon on the bottom and translate the Japanese text come up with “A mysterious website appears? This summer, what will happen…” While this isn’t much to go on, the bottom right text in the image suggests that we won’t have to wait long to know more. The top line is “domas-SCENE01,” which suggests that there may be more scenes coming, whether it be through the same teaser site or some other medium. The second line reads “08.30.2018,” so those interested presumably need only wait until the end of August to find out more about the Bandai Namco horror game. DFTG will report on further developments about the game.
