Attack On Titan Season 2: Full Cast List, Theme Song Performer and Launch Date Revealed!

Fans of the hit anime Attack On Titan have been waiting for a very long time for Season 2, and now, three years since the final episode of season 1, we finally have an air date!  According to CrunchyRoll, Funimation’s simulcast of Attack On Titan season 2 is scheduled to launch on April 1st.  The synopsis can be seen below, per Funimation:

“Eren Jaeger swore to wipe out every last Titan, but in a battle for his life he wound up becoming the thing he hates most.  With his new powers, he fights for humanity’s freedom facing the monsters that threaten his home.  After a bittersweet victory against the Female Titan, Eren finds no time to rest–a horde of Titans is approaching Wall Rose and the battle for humanity continues!”

Attack On Titan started out as a manga by Hajime Isayama.  Since the first season came to its conclusion back in 2013, the show has become a massive international success, thanks in no small part to its availability on streaming sites like Netflix and Crunchyroll.  In the interim between seasons, the anime has spawned not only a video game, but multiple live-action movies as well.
