Microsoft, as part of their pre-show presentation, launched an Assassin’s Creed Origins cinematic trailer that is revealing plot and stunning graphics for the latest installment in the franchise. Gamescom is a trade show for interactive games and entertainment, considered the largest in Europe. Fans were treated to the usual big release CG trailer with a song cover over the footage. Check out the latest trailer in the video below:
As seen above, the game takes place in Egypt during the rise of Cleopatra in 49 BC. The entire country is explorable with Alexandria among the places players can visit. As seen in the Assassin’s Creed Origins cinematic trailer, historical figure Julius Ceasar will be in the game as well, seen directing an army in the video above.
This new Assassin’s Creed Origins cinematic trailer comes just two months before the release of the game. Fans can expect to see Origins on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC on the 27th of October. Those who pre-order will be treated to a special mission about the Pyramids. The game is available for $59.99 and has a Deluxe Edition $69.99, while those with the extra cash can shell out the $109.99 for the feature rich Gold Edition.
