Assassin’s Creed Origins: Animus Control Panel Lets You Mod The Game, Now Available (VIDEO)
PC gamers rejoice, for Assassin’s Creed Origins has finally joined the modding community! Well, sort of. Announced earlier this month, Ubisoft’s Animus Control Panel lets players alter the world around them with 75 parameters in 11 difference categories. Check out the trailer for the new tool below to see what it’s all about:
As seen in the first look trailer above, the Animus Control Panel offers almost limitless freedom for players looking to change things up in Bayek’s world, ranging from simple visual tweaks to toggling one-hit assassinations. Players can also choose to play as different characters which has the potential for some pretty cool alternative moments within the game. The results can be pretty hilarious as well, whether it be Bayek running faster than a horse or using his “army of hippos” to eliminate his enemies.
The Animus Control Panel represents the first time such a tool has ever been present within an Assassin’s Creed game, and should there be enough positive feedback it will likely reappear in future games. Unfortunately the Animus Control Panel is a PC exclusive, and it is unlikely that such a tool will make it to the console versions of the game. The Animus Control Panel is now available on PC through today’s free update for the game.
Assassin’s Creed Origins is now available for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
