ARMS Fighter Min Min Confirmed As Next Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Character (VIDEO)

Extend those extremities in celebration, folks, because Super Smash Bros. Ultimate has finally revealed its new character from ARMS! Teased earlier this year during a previous Nintendo presentation, all we’ve known until now is that the next fighter to be announced would be from the ARMS game, which made for a significant number of possibilities. Thankfully, the veil has finally lifted, revealing that the ramen lover herself, Min Min, is coming soon to Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.

Super Smash Bros. creator Masahiro Sakurai hosted a Nintendo presentation today from inside his home, where during the course of 30-ish minutes it was revealed that a bunch of new content is on its way to Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, with new fighter Min Min being at the top of the list. The reveal trailer can be seen below:

As one may have been able to glean from the trailer, Min Min works much in the same way she does in ARMS, with the character not having any traditional aerials or specials to utilize. The fighter itself offers some impressive long-ranged poke while also sporting an impressive edge guard and the ability to deflect projectiles with her up smash, with that last ability being made possible because, according to Sakurai, she is apparently able to reflect projectiles in the game. We don’t judge here.

Min Min will be available to snag as DLC on June 29th for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.
