Apex Legends Crypto Abilities And Ultimate Detailed (VIDEO)
Season 2 of Apex Legends began a sequence of events that would ultimately lead right into season 3, with a mysterious figure tampering with the Apex Games systems and later discovered to be a new character by the name of Crypto. While Season 3 is filled with new weapons, cosmetics, and even a new map, none of it would be possible without Crypto, who’s added an intriguing side story to the franchise’s lore. A new trailer goes into a little detail concerning his story as well as revealing just what kind of abilities the incredibly talented hacker has.
According to the Apex Legends website, Crypto’s real name is Tae Joon Park and is on the run as a wanted criminal for corporate espionage and murder of his foster sister. In order to track down those who framed him and bring justice to his sister, Crypto has entered the Apex Games to search for evidence and answers. Crypto’s knowledge of engineering and robotics has turned the Legend into one of the most elite hackers in the Outlands, and he utilizes his skills in these areas to surveil and disrupt enemies, giving him an edge on any unsuspecting foe.
Crypto’s Tactical Ability is the Surveillance Drone, the bread and butter of his skills. This drone gives him the ability to scout out areas and give him a strategic look at what hides there. His Passive Ability, Neurolink allows the Apex Legends character to give allies a tactical readout on enemy positions within a 30 meter radius. When necessary, the drone can also be used in conjunction with Crypto’s Ultimate ability allowing him to set off an EMP blast that deals damage to enemy shields, slow them down, or even disable traps in the area.
Apex Legends is currently available for PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4. Season 3 of the game recently launched on October 1st of this year.
