Many of us have played a game at some point and said “man, this would make for an amazing anime series!” One such gamer felt that way about the massively popular Apex Legends, and they put their talents to good use by creating an absolutely stellar mock anime opening video for the game. Twitter user @aidensphan recently posted their creation, which can be found below:

The video itself is quite impressive, and the folks over at Respawn Entertainment seem to agree. They shared the clip through the official Apex Legends Twitter account with the caption “This is amazing.” Fans were understandably shocked when Respawn aired their official intro video for Apex Legends, even moreso when the devs announced that as of that point, the game was available to download for free.

Since its release Apex Legends has taken on a life of its own, with fans and data-miners all scrambling to find out what comes next for the popular free-to-play battle royale title. Thankfully we shouldn’t have to wait too long for the next big reveal, which should involve the start of Season One, the introduction of the first Battle Pass, and the next Legend, Octane.

Apex Legends is now available for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
