Anthem’s Head Of Live Service Makes A Departure From Bioware
Anthem has gone through some rough times, especially immediately after its initial release. After a less than stellar launch of the title and a series of setbacks, the game continues to push ahead into the future. Sadly, the developers will have to figure out just how they hope to continue with their plans without the help of the Head of Live-Service, Chad Robertson.
Chad Robertson recently released a post to Twitter announcing his move from the company, expressing his gratitude for all the work he’s been able to be a part while stating that it was time for him to move on. Robertson also states that the projects he had been working on such as Anthem and Star Wars: The Old Republic are going to be in good hands. As of right now, however, there’s no word on who will be stepping up to take on the role.
This is my last week with BioWare. I’ve been with the company for 14 years and am grateful for everything I’ve been part of here. SW:TOR, Anthem, the Austin studio, and BioWare are in good hands; you can expect great things ahead.

Robertson isn’t the first to leave Bioware recently. Ben Irving, the Lead Producer of Anthem, also left the company earlier this year. Irving also stated that the company was being left in good hands, though it does seem a little troubling nonetheless.
